Chen Cheng-po's work Linlang Mountain Hall (1935) represents the garden owned by Dr. Zhang Jincan and his wife (also called Yiyuan) in Chiayi. At this time, the garden played an important role in the art movement in Chiayi. Zhang Jincan and Zhang Li Dehe are pictured on the left. Chen Cheng-po is pictured in the back right.
