Chen Cheng-po is interviewed by the Japanese press in his studio upon being selected by the 7th Imperial Art Exhibition (Teiten) for the first time. In his hands, he is holding his work Nude Sitting on Chair Contemplating and in the back left is his work Female Nude with two plaits.
